DIY Romper & Dress Sew-Along w/ Mimi G

Hi Darlings!

This was such a fun tutorial to do for me because although we are sewing a "Sleepwear" pattern I wanted to make it versatile. So, since we are doing the romper, which can be worn out and about depending on the fabric choice, I figured why not make a quick modification and turn the romper into a cute little tank dress. I hope you enjoy the sew along video below and I will see you guys later!

Tank Dress Fabric Options: HERE (my fabric) any of THESE and THESE

DRESS FRONT TIE NOTE: For the front tie of the dress simply cut 1 piece of fabric 1.5" wide by 24" long. fold in half (lengthwise) sew using 5/8" seam allowance to create a tube. Turn the tube inside out and tie in a bow . I then tacked the bow to the center front at the waist with a few hand stitches.

  6. When discussion of machine knitting versus hand knitting arise, there is always someone who mentions their belief that items knitted on a machine are not hand made. Machine knitters are quick to point out that creating an item with a knitting machine most certainly involves setting up the bed of stitches, manipulating stitches for shaping and finishing the items by hand, thus qualifying their items as hand made. https://mycrochetpattern.com/home/crochet-toys/crochet-cute-paw-print/
