Hi Darlings! This is the easiest and cutest dress to make for any holiday party and you can make it short or long, with out without the peplum or with shorts sleeves if you so choose. Fir this sew along I made the long sleeve version with the peplum and the long fishtail skirt. CLICK HERE for a coupon code and save 10% off your purchase (online only)
Hi Darlings! This is probably one of my favorite DIY's to date. It was so fun, easy and quick to do and I even show you how to create a one piece facing. The cape is made out of a wool blend that I happen to have in my stash in EVERY color. It works for so many projects that I keep it stocked.
My FABRIC is the LANA BOLLITO WOOL and it comes in great colors which you can find in this section HERE. Make sure to use this month's coupon code (CLICK HERE FOR CODE) There is no pattern for this project because we make it using two half circles.
Hi Darlings, It's that time again ;-) todays sew-along is made out of this adorable lace sweater knit fabric. The back is a solid black sweater knit so I used the back of it as contrast. Links for fabric and pattern below. xoxo
Hi Darlings, I cant wait to make at least two more of these for Fall. This really awesome pattern is a great choice for the cool fall nights. I like that it lets me show off buttons which means you can get creative.
As usual the sew-along video is below, can t wait to see your version and remember until 10/31 use coupon code MIMI45 for 10% off your purchase (online only)
Hi Darlings, I made myself the top version of this pattern a few weeks ago and after making I thought...this would be cute as a dress! So I thought I would modify it and show you how to do it too.
I used a sweater knit for this version and linked to a few options below.
Hi Darlings, I love lave and I love kimonos, cardi's and just about anything I can throw over my jeans and tee. When I saw this gorgeous lace I knew it would look awesome as a kimono with fringe. I used a super simple pattern by New Look and the fabric links are below (remember to use MIMI10 at checkout for a 10% discount on online orders)

Let's start by one of my favorite tutorials I did last summer. This swimsuit has a great vintage feel and was a big hit so if you missed it I have linked the step-by-step video below along with two great Cheetah Print andLeopard Print fabrics that will look hot!
These two swimsuits below are from my Simplicity summer patterns and are available in both misses and plus size. I made the swimsuits out of a jungle print and a solid gold that are no longer available but I linked to some amazing fabrics below including my current PLAIDfavorites! The FLORAL with POLKA DOTS would be a really cool combo and the CHEVRON and SOLIDS are great choices as well.
This swimsuit has a great front ruffle and gathered sides with ties, it is super flattering and can be made from a solid or a print and it will look amazing either way. I linked some of my fabric picks below along with the step-by-step video tutorial.
